How is Agile different from traditional PMI?
Agile is different from traditional PMI® in that it excels in projects where uncertainty or requirements frequently change. Methods like Kanban, Scrum, and Lean support teams to quickly adapt to such changes. Conversely, traditional project management is geared towards projects with stable and clearly defined requirements, where consistency can be ensured throughout the project lifecycle.
This makes Agile preferable for dynamic projects while traditional PMI® as documented in its PMBOK® Guide is better suited for predictable environments.
