Which Kanban course should I choose - KMP I or KMP II?The Association for Project Management (APM), a leading UK educational charity, offers qualifications that boost your career at any stage. Read on to discover how these credentials can enhance your professional journey.
Most learners start with Kanban System Design (KMP I). It’s designed for introducing Kanban or redesigning how work flows through a system. Kanban System Improvement (KMP II) is best if you already use Kanban and want to improve performance, maturity and outcomes across a wider system.
Do I need prerequisites?
KMP I typically has no formal prerequisites and is the usual starting point. KMP II is intended for people who have completed KMP I (or have equivalent knowledge and practical experience using Kanban). If you’re unsure, tell us your background and we’ll advise the best route.
