Both PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner certifications must be renewed every 3 years.

You can renew through PeopleCert by:

1. Retaking the same exam before the renewal date
2. Completing another PeopleCert course in the same suite
3. Earning and logging CPD points via PeopleCert membership

Certificates issued before June 2020 had a renew-by date of 1 July 2023. Expired Foundation certificates remain valid as exam prerequisites.

  • Practitioner exam: 2.5 hours
• If you don’t hold the prerequisites, you must also complete the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course:
