What is the RACI matrix used for?

The RACI matrix is used to clarify roles and responsibilities in projects or processes. It stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed, helping to define who is involved and at what capacity. By outlining each person's role, it minimises confusion and ensures accountability.

This tool assists in identifying any gaps or overlaps in roles, which can streamline efficiency and improve communication within a team. The RACI matrix is especially useful in complex projects that involve many stakeholders.
