Can I do PRINCE2 without experience?

Yes, you can do PRINCE2 without prior experience. The PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exams have no prerequisite qualifications. That means you could sit these exams without having any previous experience.

However, for the latest PRINCE2 7th edition, the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam require that you have previously sat the Foundation exam, or another prerequisite qualification which includes any one of these:

• PRINCE2 Foundation (6th edition)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner (6th edition)
• IPMA® Levels A, B, C or D
• APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
• APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ)
• PMI® Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
• PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
