What is the difference between Scrum and Kanban?

The difference between Scrum and Kanban is that Scrum is a structured, time-boxed approach typically involving specific roles, ceremonies, and artifacts designed for iterative delivery, usually within sprints. Kanban, on the other hand, is a more flexible methodology focused on visualising workflow, limiting work in progress, and managing flow to improve efficiency. While Scrum requires cross-functional teams, Kanban does not prescribe roles and can be more adaptable to changes, allowing teams to update tasks and priorities as needed without fixed iterations.
