Is APM better than PMP?

Whether APM is better than PMP® depends on context. In the UK, APM qualifications are much more highly regarded than PMI qualifications. In the USA, the opposite is true. APM is composed of best practices for project management, while PMP® serves as a specific standard within the field. APM offers training across various experience levels, but PMP® is only suitable for project managers with several years' of experience.

Your choice may depend on your location and career goals.
