Is PRINCE2 suitable for programme management?

Whether PRINCE2 is suitable for programme management primarily depends on your experience. It is most beneficial for those who have at least 3-5 years in project and programme management roles. Some organisations, however, seek PMO or project support staff with PRINCE2 qualifications.
