Does a PRINCE2 certificate expire?

The PRINCE2 Foundation certificate never expires. However, candidates holding the PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate are recognised as a 'PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner' for 3 years. This status can be extended by retaking the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam after 3 years.
