Can I just take the exam only?
Yes. This page explains your PRINCE2 Practitioner exam-only options. You can choose to take your exam online or at our London Exam Centre.
Can I take the Practitioner exam online?
Yes. To take your Practitioner exam online you just need internet access, and a computer with web cam. You can book an exam with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
Does your Practitioner online course include an exam?
Yes, unlike some competitors, all our online Practitioner courses come with exams.
Do you have sample PRINCE2 Practitioner exam questions or a mock exam?
Yes. On our classroom courses and as part of our online courses you get access to 2 full official sample papers. These are available online and as PDFs and provide detailed feedback for each question.
Be careful of downloading sample exam papers from the internet. If they haven’t been written by an approved trainer, nobody can determine their quality and they might mislead you.
Do you provide an online Practitioner exam simulator?
Yes. If you subscribe to one of our e-learning courses, or book an exam-only, you get access to our Practitioner exam simulator which contains 2 full sample Practitioner exams.
How do I book a Practitioner exam?
You can book your exam in several ways. However, you cannot take a Practitioner exam unless you meet one of the prerequisite criteria.
If you do meet the prerequisites, then you can book an exam one of these ways:
- As part of a weekday PRINCE2 Practitioner classroom course; or,
- As part of a weekend PRINCE2 Practitioner classroom course; or,
- As part of an PRINCE2 Practitioner online course; or,
- As an exam-only package.
If you don’t meet the prerequisites, then you can book an exam one of these ways:
- As part of a weekday Foundation & Practitioner classroom course; or,
- As part of a weekend Foundation & Practitioner classroom course; or,
- As part of an online Foundation & Practitioner course.
How to pass the Practitioner exam?

What is a Practitioner course?
A Practitioner course consists either of a 2-day or 2.5-day classroom training or an online course. An accredited course will cover the full Practitioner syllabus which focuses on whether a candidate can apply the PRINCE2 methodology to a non-complex project.
A course might include a Foundation part which focuses on teaching a candidate the basics of the PRINCE2 methodology.

What’s the Practitioner exam cost?
The current certification cost can be found on the relevant course pages (weekday Practitioner, weekend Practitioner or online Practitioner).
Practitioner-only exam fees start at £349 + VAT for an exam at our London PRINCE2 Exam Centre. An online exam-only costs £370 + VAT. Both options come with our full Foundation e-learning course for 7 days.
What’s the Practitioner exam syllabus?

What’s the Practitioner exam pass mark?
To pass you need to score 38 or more marks out of 68.
What study options are there?
Your study method can either be by taking a traditional classroom course or by taking an online course. Classroom courses run both at weekends and weekdays.
What subjects do the courses cover?
Practitioner courses build upon your core understanding of PRINCE2 which you gained at Foundation level. At Practitioner level, you learn to apply the method to a project scenario using case studies.
Which version are your Practitioner courses and exams?
Both our Practitioner classroom and online courses (and exams) are based upon the latest PRINCE2 2017 manual.
Are your exams the same as Prometric or Pearson VUE?
Yes. Because we are a PRINCE2 accredited training provider, we get our exams from PeopleCert.
To sit your exam at a Pearson VUE or Prometric test centre you will need to purchase an exam voucher.
