Our courses are designed and taught to give you the greatest chance of passing your exams. This is reflected in our PRINCE2 Foundation pass rate of 99.5%. (UK National average 97%).
We also like to save you time. Our exclusive online pre-course study materials have pinpointed the most essential aspects of the PRINCE2 syllabus. This is a big advantage for you because you can prepare for the course in just 3-4 hours, instead of the 16+ hours required by many other training providers.
Knowledge Train is based in London and is a PRINCE2 Accredited Training Organisation, which means you can be confident that our courses conform to the highest standards of project management training.
Why this qualification?
With this qualification you will be able to work as an informed member of a project team. It is a pre-requisite for taking the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification which is recommended if you manage projects.
The PRINCE2 Foundation course is also ideal if you are looking for a career change, as no previous project management experience is necessary.
The PRINCE2 Foundation training course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of PRINCE2. You will learn about the PRINCE2 approach to projects – its principles, themes, processes, and techniques, and you will be well prepared to pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam at the end of the training course.
Who is this for?
A PRINCE2 Foundation course is your ideal starting point if you are working on a PRINCE2 project team. Many of our delegates take the Foundation course with the aim of applying their PRINCE2 knowledge at work. They then go on to study the PRINCE2 Practitioner at a later date after gaining more experience of PRINCE2.
If your career goals differ from the ones listed below, please feel free to discuss your goals with our specialist advisors on 0207 148 5985. They can advise you on choosing a course which best suits your career.
I work on projects and want to learn new skills to bring back to work
As a delegate taking our PRINCE2 Foundation course you will become equipped with the terminology and knowledge about how PRINCE2 works. You will immediately be able to go back to work and speak this new vocabulary and be able to act as an informed member of a project team.
Even if you do not regard yourself as a project manager in a formal sense but just find yourself more involved in projects at work you will benefit from this course.
I am unemployed and want the qualification to put on my CV
Even if you are an experienced project manager and perhaps have been made redundant or are in between contracts, you can benefit from a PRINCE2 Foundation course. You might have found that not having PRINCE2 on your CV is hindering your job search. That’s where this course will help you.
Although taking a PRINCE2 Foundation course doesn’t qualify you as a registered practitioner, having PRINCE2 Foundation on your CV will instantly increase your chances of employment. Alongside your previous project experience, it shows that you know the PRINCE2 terminology and are capable of working as an informed member of a PRINCE2 project team.
I want to change career and work in project management
You will find that PRINCE2 is widely recognised as an essential starting point when looking for many jobs, not just project management jobs.
Even if you want to make a complete career change you will find that many jobs require project management skills that are transferable. This is true even for project work at university. We have trained beginners who are from unrelated backgrounds such as consultancy, military, merchandising and even nursing who have then gone on to work in project management.
One thing to remember however, is that if you want to work in project management, gaining a full Practitioner qualification is recommended. PRINCE2 Practitioner is a higher level qualification and shows you can apply PRINCE2 to simple projects. In that respect, a more suitable course for you would be the PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner course.
I want to organise PRINCE2 training for my colleagues
If your organization wants to train its staff in the world’s most popular project management methodology, then we can help. We’ve been delivering in-house PRINCE2 training for over 10 years. Our knowledgeable and dedicated trainers can help your staff get quickly up to speed with PRINCE2 and help them gain professional PRINCE2 Foundation certification as well.
To help us better understand your PRINCE2 training requirements, call one of our expert advisors now on 0207 148 5985 or complete this form.

Faultless training style
Training style cannot be faulted.
Interesting, informative and still fun!
The venue was fab and the materials were great.
Would be good to have some more 'real world' scenarios in the book BUT I understand there is not enough time to cover this in the course.
Will be back for Practitioner - hopefully I'll have the same trainer!

"Since 2005 we have trained over 12,000 students. We have been able to get a very high pass rate"
What our students say
"An intensive course which was run by a very competent teacher (Kobus) who made an incredibly dry topic easier to learn. Lots of real life experience from him which enabled the class of students to gel and work well together. Highly recommend Knowledge Train when it comes to PRINCE 2 training especially the excellent teacher."
"Kobus is a fantastic teacher. He made what is a pretty dull topic fun and interesting. I actually enjoyed the course, which I did not expect. I just wish Kobus had taught me physics at school, as I think he could make the dullest topic in the world enjoyable. But more importantly, I've actually learned a great deal, passed the Foundation exam, and am confident about the Practitioner exam. A fabulous trainer and a great course. I'd highly recommend the course (Kobus as a teacher) to anyone. Thank you Kobus!"
Harriet King, Deputy Ambassador for Senegal
"I thought the delivery of the course was very good. The trainer has the knowledge and delivers in lively way, given that PRINCE2 is otherwise a quite mundane methodology. The examples he provided were useful and I liked the humour added."
Vanja Lisic, British Embassy
"The course was great. Kobus was an excellent teacher, made it fun and interesting. Kobus provided the support necessary in assisting me to pass my Foundation exam. He was very friendly and built excellent relationships. The e-books were an excellent revision tool."

"The course fulfills the purpose of teaching students how to pass the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. Kobus is a fantastic teacher! He manages to make quite a dry subject a lot more interesting. An enjoyable week."

"I attended PRINCE2 weekend course (Foundation and Practitioner) this April. I got to know about this course by looking at websites of various companies offering this course and then checking out Knowledge Train website. I decided to go for Knowledge Train for their good reviews/ratings. The cost of the course was reasonable too as compared to some other companies. Special thanks to Nick (trainer) for his excellent teaching and delivery method"
