Road
The main route into Bournemouth is the A338 spur road. The A31 joins the M27 at Cadnam and from there the M3 to London. The A350 in the borough of Poole provides the only northern route out of the city.
Buses
Public bus routes serve Bournemouth Travel Interchange & Bournemouth University. There are frequent departures to London Victoria Coach Station and Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
Rail
There are two railways stations in Bournemouth – the Bournemouth railway station and Pokesdown railway station. Parts of western Bournemouth can also be reached from Branksome station. All three stations can be reached from London Waterloo.
