Road
Telford is located at the M54 motorway interchange, a spur of the M6 connecting the city with Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, and on the A5 route between Shrewsbury and Cannock.
Rail
Telford Central is a railway station on the Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton Line. On the same route, the town also contains Oakengates and Wellington railway stations. Trains from Arriva Trains Wales, West Midlands Railway, and Avanti West Coast serve all three stations.
Bus
Arriva Midlands operates the bulk of bus services in the Telford from its Stafford Park garage, which replaced the old Midland Red depot in Wellington. Banga Bus operates route 891 to Wolverhampton via Shifnal and Tettenhall, replacing the previous Midland Red service, which was later taken up by Arriva Midlands.
