The 7 PRINCE2 principles
Continued business justification – make sure the project is started and continued based upon sound justifications
Learn from experience – try to avoid repeating the mistakes from previous projects
Defined roles & responsibilities – make sure everyone knows what is expected from them
Manage by stages – break down the project into manageable stages so that progress can be reviewed and decisions taken about further investment in the project
Manage by exception – delegate day to day management to the project manager, whilst high level decisions are taken by senior management
Focus on products – ensure the output of the project is correctly specified and activities are focused on delivering products according to specification
Tailor to suit the project environment – all projects are different, so be sensible and apply PRINCE2 to suit the particular circumstances

PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Exam
The course requires delegates to pass a one hour closed book Foundation examination.
The PRINCE2 Foundation exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions. Of these, 70 questions will be marked and 5 (dummy) questions will not be marked. The candidate must score more than 35 correct answers to pass the examination. The 5 questions which are not marked are simply used to try out new questions. The candidate will be unaware which questions are the 5 dummy questions.
The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam consists of a 2.5 hour open book multiple choice examination. Candidates are allowed to bring into the examination their own annotated copy of the PRINCE2 manual.
Our PRINCE2 Practitioner courses achieve a 96% pass rate. Our pre-course booklet takes the hard work out of learning PRINCE2. Don't settle for courses that make you study 20 hours beforehand - it isn't necessary. Learn the easy way with Knowledgetrain.
