Note: this examination is for students who have already attended an accredited PRINCE2 course, or have self-studied using accredited PRINCE2 materials.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam format based on 2005 manual

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam consists of 9 topic areas, each topic is worth 40 marks making a total of 360 available marks. Delegates allowed to bring into the examination their own annotated copy of the PRINCE2 manual (2005 edition). Candidates must score 55% or more to pass.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam format based on 2009 manual

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam consists of 9 topic areas, each topic is worth 12 marks making a total of 108 available marks. The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam consists of a 2.5 hour open book multiple choice examination. Delegages are allowed to bring into the examination their own annotated copy of the PRINCE2 manual (2009 edition). Candidates must score 55% or more to pass.
