Your PRINCE2 exam checklist – Exam arrangements

At Knowledge Train we provide PRINCE2 training courses almost every week. Our trainers and invigilators work hard to ensure that students feel confident about sitting the PRINCE2 Foundation, Practitioner, and Practitioner Re-registration exams.

We understand that when you are training for your PRINCE2 exam, practical matters about the test can easily be overlooked. That is why Knowledge Train has prepared your essential PRINCE2 exam checklist, of which this is the first part. Keep the following tips in mind to help ensure that you have everything you need to sit your PRINCE2 exam with us.

Exam venue and duration

At Knowledge Train you can rest assured that the training sessions and exams are held at the same location. Exam times are confirmed before you start your course. When based on the 2009 version of PRINCE2, the Foundation exam lasts 1 hour, Practitioner 2.5 hours, and Practitioner Re-registration 1 hour. By working out how much time you have to answer each question, you can pace yourself accordingly in the exam.

Special arrangements

If you have special needs or disabilities, you may wish to discuss your requirements with Knowledge Train in advance of the exam. For example, if you are dyslexic, you could be granted additional time to answer the questions and/or receive an exam printed on coloured paper.

Language

If you are a non-native speaker of the language in which your PRINCE2 exam is written, you can refer to a bilingual dictionary during the exam. If your exam paper is written in a language other than the business language(s) of the country in which you take the exam, additional time may be granted for you to answer the questions. If you believe that you are entitled to extra time, you should contact Knowledge Train in advance of the exam to discuss arrangements.
