Why this qualification?
The PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualification is ideal if you are taking on more project work or are moving into a project management role. If you work as part of a project team and are just looking to learn an overview of PRINCE2, then the standalone Foundation course should be more suited to you.
The training is delivered by an approved PRINCE2 trainer. The course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of PRINCE2 and to show you how to apply the method to different project scenarios. By the end of the course you should have learned enough to be able to apply PRINCE2 to simple projects.
Don’t worry if you haven’t any prior knowledge or experience of either PRINCE2 or project management, experience is not necessary for this course.
On this course you will learn about the PRINCE2 approach to projects – its principles, themes, processes, and techniques – and how to apply PRINCE2 to simple projects. You will also be well prepared to pass both the Foundation and Practitioner exams during the course.
Who is this for?
Our delegates come from all walks of life and work in all industries and in organizations ranging from 1 to over 100,000 employees. Our courses have helped all these individuals further their careers and skills in project management.
If your career goals differ from the ones listed below, please feel free to discuss your goals with our specialist advisors on 0207 148 5985. They can advise you on choosing a course which best suits your career.
I currently work on projects and want to learn new skills to bring back to work
This is the most common goal among our PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner students. Some of you may not call yourselves project managers in a formal sense, but if you are taking on more project-based work or moving into a project manager role then this course is suitable for you. Not only will you become PRINCE2 certified, but you will also learn a methodical approach which you can bring back and apply on your projects.
I am unemployed and want the qualification to put on my CV
Even if you are an experienced project manager and perhaps have been made redundant or are in between contracts, this course is suitable for you. Some previous students have told us that they were rejected from jobs because they didn’t have the PRINCE2 qualification on their CV. If you are unemployed or in between contracts you will appreciate the wide recognition which PRINCE2 has obtained, and your new PRINCE2 certification can act as a stepping stone to help you back into employment.
I want to change career and work in project management
One of the great things about attending a PRINCE2 course is that you don’t need any experience before attending. We have trained beginners who are from unrelated backgrounds such as consultancy, military, merchandising and even nursing; all of which may or may not have included elements of project work. If you are motivated towards a successful career transition you can be confident that PRINCE2 is one of the hottest certifications around.
I want to organize PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner training for my colleagues
If your organization wants to train its staff in the world’s most popular project management methodology, then we can help. We’ve been delivering in-house PRINCE2 training for over 10 years. Our knowledgeable and dedicated trainers can help your staff get quickly up to speed with PRINCE2 and help them gain professional PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner certification as well.

Kobus was engaging
Kobus was enganging, interesting and was clear about the course. He conveyed a very dry topic in a way that was effective and enjoyable. The course is very complex. Kobus unpicked the puzzle far as in a logical and clear way.
The sample material from Knowledge Train was useful.

The course provided what it promised
The course provided what it promised. Preparation for the exam. We did not go too deep into the material itself, so if you're interested in the content you need to do this yourself. However, Kobus showed us how to go about the exam and what is important to look for in order to get the answer right, which is ultimately what you need to know if you want to pass the exam. The venue was fine, there was always enough tea, coffee and snacks.

Kobus was a great trainer
Kobus was a great trainer. I think that the course is very focused on passing the exam rather than understanding the context.

Kobus did a really good job
I liked that Kobus brings the theory to life with examples of application - used the royal wedding or building a house. Lots of people can visually relate to it. Venue was fine, easy enough to get to.
I wonder if it would be helpful to have the book earlier.
Finally I think Kobus did a really good job engaging whats a pretty dry subject - Lots of humour and practical examples.

What our students say
"An intensive course which was run by a very competent teacher (Kobus) who made an incredibly dry topic easier to learn. Lots of real life experience from him which enabled the class of students to gel and work well together. Highly recommend Knowledge Train when it comes to PRINCE 2 training especially the excellent teacher."
"Kobus is a fantastic teacher. He made what is a pretty dull topic fun and interesting. I actually enjoyed the course, which I did not expect. I just wish Kobus had taught me physics at school, as I think he could make the dullest topic in the world enjoyable. But more importantly, I've actually learned a great deal, passed the Foundation exam, and am confident about the Practitioner exam. A fabulous trainer and a great course. I'd highly recommend the course (Kobus as a teacher) to anyone. Thank you Kobus!"
Harriet King, Deputy Ambassador for Senegal
