Knowledge Train is an MSP Accredited Training Organization meaning our course materials and trainers conform to the highest standards. Knowledge Train has been delivering project and programme management training since 2005 and has helped more than 8,000 people gain professional qualifications since then.

Why this qualification?

Gaining MSP Foundation certification will boost your career opportunities by showing that you can effectively participate in a programme team. This might be as a member of a programme office, business change team or project delivery team.

The MSP Foundation qualification is also a very good way to differentiate yourself in the jobs market. If you already have a project management qualification such as PRINCE2, the MSP Foundation certification can complement that. It shows that you have a broader knowledge about how projects fit into programmes.

Who is this for?

This course is ideal for members of a programme office, programme support staff, business change team, project delivery team and anyone who needs to understand programme management principles and terminology. It is equally suited to people such as programme managers and change managers who want to take a higher level qualification, such as Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner.

If your career goals differ from the ones listed below, please feel free to discuss your goals with our specialist advisors on 0207 148 5985. They can advise you on choosing a course which best suits your career.

Jumoke clearly an expert in her field!

The course was very good. It exceeded my expectations. The training style was a good mix of teaching, presentations, reflection and mock exams. The slides could align better though and the book needs an index. Jumoke was an excellent trainer - approachable, knowledgeable, friendly and clearly an expert in her field! Venue was great! No complaints.

Good atmosphere

I found the mock exams very helpful. The course had a good atmosphere. Our trainer was helpful and friendly. We also had a good level of homework.

Jumoke was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable

Good pace. Good content. Good delivery. As someone who has no experience of projects/programmes, the pre-course study was essential. I would not have kept up without it, as my day job is in the public service. Jumoke was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable. She was highly experienced and could tell when we had reached information capacity!

Kobus was excellent!

Very good course overall. Pre-course study videos were extremely useful and well-designed. Other materials provided were very good too. Kobus was excellent! Very engaging and gave me great confidence for sitting the exams. The venue was ok, but would have preferred colder drinking water.

Well-presented with good delivery

Good course. Well-presented with good delivery. Could do with more examples to bring it to life/more group exercises. But good overall.

Really good course

It was a really good course. Jumoke is an engaging and able trainer. MSP is actually more interesting than PRINCE2 - it is more intuitive. There is a lot of material to get through, so it is pretty intense if you have other commitments in the evenings. Jumoke is a very good trainer and the course was held in a great venue. One negative is that the pre-course study wasn't that helpful for me.

11 Apr 2017

Small group was nice

Very intense and a lot of information to take in over 5 days. Having a small group was nice. Our trainer was good, although it was sometimes hard to follow the flow (the same can be said for the course materials). However, she did explain things well and the venue was lovely.

11 Apr 2017

Clear and concise trainer

Very thorough, fast-paced and well-delivered. We had a clear and concise trainer and comprehensive course materials. Venue and facilities were great.

Femi Fashoyin, Fash Consulting Ltd

"Great intructor! Got a good insight into agile methodology especially with regards to prioritisation of requirements. I would have liked to have seen more of the elements tailored towards enterprise and scaling methods from projects to larger programmes. Overall covers fundamentals well and these can be practically applied where relevant to a real life scenario with an ability to flex approach. "
David Glen, Deloitte
